Serving the community for over 100 years, River Region United Way has been a cornerstone in addressing community needs through strategic partnerships, a committed and engaged board of directors, and a dedicated team. The agency serves Montgomery, Autauga, Elmore, Lowndes, and Macon counties.
River Region United Way (RRUW) is honored to support our 26 Community Partners in the river region that serve on the frontlines, delivering direct services to those in need. Over the last several months, RRUW moved into a permanent home in downtown Montgomery – a true gift back to the community. RRUW is partnering with the city, county, and local businesses to continue to find solutions to the homeless challenge.
RRUW Community Partners include: AC/WEC ARC (Smith Center), Boys and Girls Club, Brantwood Children’s Home, Butterfly Bridge – Autauga and Elmore Counties, Cancer Wellness Foundation, Catholic Social Services, Child Protect, Children’s Center of Montgomery, Easter Seals Central Alabama, Easter Seals Central Alabama-Camp ASCCA, Elmore County Family Resource Center, Family Guidance Center, Family Sunshine Center, Gift of Life, Habitat for Humanity, 211/Hands on River Region, Hope Inspired Ministries, MANE, Maxwell/Gunter Youth Activities, Meals on Wheels, Medical Outreach Montgomery, Mental Health Alabama Montgomery, Salvation Army, Sickle Cell Foundation of Greater Montgomery, YMCA Greater Montgomery/Millbrook/Wetumpka, and YMCA Prattville.
