Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School

The Face of Christian Education

Montgomery Catholic is a historic educational institution, founded in 1873 by the Sisters of Loretto. With 150 years of experience, it stands as the longest continuously running non-public K-12 school in Alabama.

The school’s main focus is nurturing students’ God-given talents, regardless of their academic skill levels. Montgomery Catholic prepares students for higher education, fostering character development based on God’s teachings. Montgomery Catholic’s unique approach lies in its commitment to building a foundation in Christ for both Catholic and non-Catholic students.

The key to their enduring success is the unwavering dedication to God and the strong sense of family within the school community. With over 100 faculty and staff members across three campuses in Montgomery, the school continues to thrive and prepare the students of the River Region for the challenges of the future. Their goal is to educate the mind, body, and soul, embracing all students as they learn and grow in Christ’s teachings.
