Alabama Family Practice, established in 1996, has earned a reputation throughout the River Region for addressing families’ diverse healthcare needs. Understanding that everyone faces health issues at some point, Alabama Family Practice is dedicated to providing the best possible healthcare experience. This commitment was strengthened in September 2023 when Dr. Thomas Lindsey, a specialist in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine, joined the team. 

The motto of Alabama Family Practice, “Embrace Joy, Cultivate Health, Build Strength, Stay Faithful, Radiate Positivity,” reflects the guiding principles that Dr. Thomas Lindsey and the entire team live by. They offer comprehensive care for both acute and chronic health conditions, including innovative non-operative treatments for chronic musculoskeletal pain such as hyaluronic acid injections, platelet-rich plasma injections, and extracorporeal shock wave therapy. The mission of Alabama Family Practice and Sports Medicine is to provide a holistic care plan that keeps individuals healthy and active in the activities they love. 

Dr. Thomas Lindsey, always passionate about the medical field, takes pride in offering both comprehensive medical care and specialized non-operative Sports and Orthopedic Medicine to the community. He enjoys the wide range of care he provides to his patients, with a particular fondness for Sports Medicine. Dr. Lindsey also enjoys covering sporting events at Montgomery Catholic High School, where keeping athletes healthy and on the field is a primary goal of Alabama Family Practice and Sports Medicine. 

Dr. Thomas Lindsey attributes his success to his faith, family, and dedication. His commitment to his studies and career has enabled him to overcome challenges and achieve his goals. Outside of work, Dr. Lindsey enjoys golf, fishing, and exercise, but his greatest pride comes from the help he and Alabama Family Practice provide to their patients.
